Monday
Woke up early again. Almost couldn't wake up because I slept very early in the morning around 4:30am. Went to fetch my Sis and Bro-in-law with my parents in tow and went to visit my Ah Kong at around 11am. Then we went over to my Bro-in-law's Mom's place to have lunch with their family and relatives. Their relatives were friendly and accepting. :)
Then went home to catch up on sleep. My Dad wasn't too keen on going to NUS to witness the Annular Solar Eclipse so we didn't go in the end. My Dad mentioned something about being able to see it better and clearer on the news in the evening. What a way to put it... -_-"
Woke up and had dinner while watching the ending of Unleashed on television. Vegetated in front of the television till about 10pm before I followed my Dad to Mustafa to do some window shopping because my Dad was bored. (!) I convinced myself that it will help me with the tutorial that I needed to do by Wednesday morning. Anyway, it was quite interesting to see a small area in Singapore that didn't seem like Singapore. There were people crowding around a television along the streets just to watch a singer entertain.
here i am
Praise the LORD.
Praise God in his sanctuary;
praise him in his mighty heavens.
Praise him for his acts of power;
praise him for his surpassing greatness.
Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet,
praise him with the harp and lyre,
praise him with tambourine and dancing,
praise him with the strings and flute,
praise him with the clash of cymbals,
praise him with resounding cymbals.
Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD.
(Psa 150:1-6)
this is me
Christ's life showed me how, and enabled me to do it. I identified myself completely with him. Indeed, I have been crucified with Christ. My ego is no longer central. It is no longer important that I appear righteous before you or have your good opinion, and I am no longer driven to impress God. Christ lives in me. The life you see me living is not "mine," but it is lived by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. (Gal 2:20 MSG)
